Installation

Install the Maxi-Cosi 2wayPearl in your car, using its ISOFIX connectors for a safe and practical installation.Using ISOFIX, install the 2wayPearl car seat with the 2wayFix base. First connect the 2wayFix to your car’s ISOFIX connectors. This way, every time you need to get in and out of the car, your car seat is snapped onto the base with a simple “click”. Visual indicators on the base notify you each time, letting you know whether your baby is correctly installed, and you are ready to “go”. Check the user manual or read our checklist for correct ISOFIX installation.

Safety

At Maxi-Cosi we have carried over 50 million babies home from the hospital. For us, your child’s safety is Maxi-Cosi’s top priority. Maxi-Cosi’s 2wayPearl is approved according to the latest European i-Size safety standard. That means it has the best protection for your head, neck and body, with rear-facing travel of up to 105 cm (approx. 4 years), which is recommended as the safest way to travel for babies.

You do not have to worry when it comes to installation! To give you peace of mind, the 2wayFix base provides visual and audible confirmation when the connection is secure. In addition, our safe 2wayPearl car seat is equipped with a Side Protection System that keeps your little one safe from damaging side impacts. In the event of a side collision, the Maxi-Cosi SPS (Side Protection System) reduces the risk of injury by absorbing the impact, ensuring that your baby is well-protected.

Rear-facing toddler car seat lasts for up to 4 years

The Maxi-Cosi 2wayPearl is a car seat for toddlers that’s designed last long while providing safety and comfort. It is compliant with the latest i-Size legislation for improved protection from side impacts and for rear-facing travel up to 4 years old. When it comes to installation, you can just sit back and enjoy some peace of mind: the ISOFIX base will provide visual and audible confirmation when the connection is secure!

For ease of use, it features an easy-in-harness that stays open so that you can easily get your little one in and out. No more hassles there anymore! In addition, its multiple recline options in both rear and forward-facing positions, make sure your baby fits comfortably in the seat.

Removable cover

On the road, snacks or drinks may not always end up where they are supposed to. Your little one could also get car sick. No matter what happens, we are there for you—Maxi-Cosi’s car seat cover is machine washable and easily removed.

Travel system

The Maxi-Cosi 2wayPearl is part of the 2wayFamily, which consists of a 2wayFix base, the Pebble Plus baby car seat, and the 2wayPearl toddler car seat.

Designed to complement each other, the three elements can be purchased separately at any time. Using the Maxi-Cosi Pebble Plus as a baby car seat for your newborn and then switching to the 2wayPearl will offer safe rear-facing travel from birth right up to approx. 4 years of age.
