Installation

These days, more and more cars use the ISOFIX system, so there’s a good chance yours will have it as well. Our Maxi-Cosi 2wayFix attaches to your car’s ISOFIX anchor points for a secure connection. Our user manual explains the steps for a correct installation using the ISOFIX in your car.

Once installed, you can leave the 2wayFix in the car. This way, every time you need to get in and out of the car, the baby car seat is fitted onto the base with a secure “click”. Visual indicators on the base notify you when your Maxi-Cosi car seat is correctly attached, and you are ready to “go”.

Continue using the 2wayFix even when your little one outgrows their first car seat, because it also fits the 2wayPearl, the follow-up toddler car seat.

The 2wayFix can be installed with our baby car seat, the Pebble Plus, and our toddler car seat, the 2wayPearl.

We want you as a parent to feel great about the choices you make. Our Maxi-Cosi 2wayFix has been constructed to enable a Click & Go installation, which makes securing your baby car seat even easier.

The Maxi-Cosi 2wayFix can be used up until your little one’s fourth birthday, because it fits our car seats the Pebble Plus for babies, and the 2wayPearl for toddlers. On top of that, our 2wayFix allows you to install the toddler car seat in a rear-facing position, which is recommended by experts for children up to 4 years old. It offers greater protection of your little one’s head and neck. At Maxi-Cosi we recommend rear-facing travel as long as your little one fits our toddler seat. The fact that your child can use the ISOFIX base for up to 4 years will be of great value to you.
